Washed from doldrum
and half-lit dusk
took a fork to Kentish chalk to
tunnel my way right out
With lights to guide
trapping me in amber, ammonite
the locus heart of
a place become sanctified
unknot me and I’ll give in to sentiment
and as my particles build the sediment
bury a part of me beneath the night markets
Of a venerable land
naught to bear, tiny prides harangued
a speck of dust swept in among the sand
then carried back
With all the bellied cold contempt
kept at the valance of the kind cabins
the hot mulled wine starts to warm inside
the speck of dust goes all in
As I deride
what left me cemented, hypnotised
the beating heart of
a place aloft, idolised
unknot me and I’ll give in to sentiment
and as my particles build the sediment
bury a part of me beneath the night markets
I often listen to specific music when i´m in a specific mood. This album, and ´Oranges and Lemons´ specifically I can listen to anytime and it will boost my mood. If I´m sad it comforts me. If I´m angry it calms me down. If I´m happy it lifts me up even more. It may not do the same to you, but there´s high chances you´ll enjoy listening anyway. smugs
